A Classic with a Mexican Twist
The weather is getting colder, and you know what that means..
Whether you like it plain, with marshmallows, topped with whipped cream, or warmed up with a little patron xo, this one's for you...
No need to reach for the mix this year, here's a recipe you'll have done
in a pinch (of chocolate, of course)!
Here's what you will need:
Serving size: one cup
1 cup Milk, 2% lowfat
Mexican chocolate like Abuelita
1 oz whipped cream
1/4 tsp chopped mexican chocolate (for topping)
Heat milk in a small sauce pan.
Finely chop 2 oz plus a 1/4 tsp of Mexican chocolate.
Stir 2 oz of the chocolate into warm milk and whisk together until blended.
Serve in your favorite mug and top with remaining chopped chocolate and whipped cream. Patron XO optional.
