How long have you worked at Pure?

For 5 years! I started working here right before I started college. My high school best friend and her brother worked at Pure and introduced me to it! I applied several times before I actually got the job. I started as a hostess and I slowly moved up to food running, serving, and bartending. Now I occasionally work as a key manager!

What is your favorite thing on the menu?

Shrimp tacos- fried, of course! Sub plantains for the beans.

And your favorite thing to drink?

Tough choice. Either the Skinny Love or the Skinny PAMA.

What are some of your secret talents or hobbies?

In college, I ran a non-profit called KSU Miracle that raised money for Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta. I love fundraising and consider it one of my secret talents. I also love to cook. I’d say my specialties are Oreo balls and Zucchini Stir- Fry!

When are you happiest?

At work, I am the happiest when I have Guests with children. I love kids and enjoy getting on their level. I also enjoy cleaning around the restaurant.

Outside of work, I am happiest anywhere I am serving people, whether that be at church, or anywhere really. OR when I’ve slept enough. haha!

If money wasn't a factor, how would you spend your perfect day?

I would watch the sunrise on a mountain before ordering chicken and waffles for brunch. Then I would go to a Braves game and sit by home plate (hopefully it’s an overcast day so it’s not too sunny!). I would take my boyfriend and my mom… and well, probably invite anyone else who would like to come! After the game, we’d go get Mexican for lunch. Then, I’d walk the Beltline with beautiful weather and spend the evening at a brewery where I would order a sour, or a Creative Comforts Athena. After that, I would go to bed!

What is a goal you are currently working towards?

I would say a goal I am working towards would be to work somewhere where I can raise money for others to live abundantly. I don’t know exactly which field (children, women, etc.), I just know I want to raise money for others to live!

If you had to start your own business, what would you do?

Although I’m a homebody, I’ve always had this urge to go on the World Race, an 11 month mission trip that visits 11 countries around the world with the goal of sharing the love of Jesus and serving others. I’ve had this idea to start a non-profit for kids in middle & high school to travel around the US, similar to the World Race, because there is a great need in the United States for volunteers but it is often neglected for the international mission trips. Students would be able to choose their plan for how long they want to go, what type of work they would like to do, etc.

Do you have any quotes or mantras you live by?

  1. “The best is yet to come.”

  2. “Perhaps you were born for such a time as this.” Esther 4:14
I love this verse because it shows us we are placed somewhere specific for a purpose.
It is not a coincidence where the Lord places you. It is for a reason.

What is your proudest moment at PURE?

2-3 years ago, I dressed up as a homeless person for a costume contest we had and I won $100 for best costume! That was the first time I won something like that so it was exciting! Also, every promotion I’ve ever received makes me proud
because it shows me how proud our management team is of me and that my hard work is worth it!

And your proudest moment in life?

My last year of college, I was the president of the non-profit I worked with. I never thought I would have the opportunity to lead an organization and serve the way I thought others would feel the most loved.

What is something most people don't know about you?

I was born in Lithuania and moved to the US when I was 5 years old. I speak Lithuanian with my family!

If you had to eat one food for the rest of your life, what would you eat?

Pizza with Ham & Green Peppers
I’d get it from either Papa John’s, Antico’s, or Chicago Deep Dish!
